the prodigal daughter

Luke 15:20 has never felt so hopeful, and yet confusing like this before.

I have lost count of the number of nights i've laid in bed wondering -despite all that i've read and been taught- if my Heavenly Father is willing to run to someone like me, so broken and fraught with sin. My insecurity does not stem from my lack of faith in Him, but the overwhelming comprehension of the person i am, deep down where nobody but Him sees.
