Nature abhors a vacuum. Wherever there is a void, she will attempt to fill it.

Therefore, when our lives are full, we leave precious little room for God to work His magic. This may be alright if our lives happen to be full of all the things that are pleasing to Him, if though, our lives are full of stress, strife and sin, it is a particular pity.

For if we could only get rid of some of this, heaven knows what might replace it.
