miracle

As the weeks labour on, as the lighter air brings on a cooler season, new voices will replace the echoes we leave behind. New shadows will chase the remnants of ours out into the murderous light. Sighing quietly, everything will return to its languorous sullenness. And then, even the dust will forget us.

Life thankfully, carries on whether we feel inspired or depressed. Life doesn't much care what mood we are in or what we are doing or where we are going. What really counts now is that we are alive. My life is a precious gift. I'm learning to appreciate it.

Regardless of what's going on, we've got more than enough reasons to be genuinely happy.
