good night

In a dark room, things develop. Shut down one sense, another over-compensates.

Sometimes i don't realise how fast my mind is racing, how hard my heart is pumping, until my head hits the pillow. Attempting to sleep becomes a reawakening. I feel my jaw muscles clenching, my shoulders aching, my chest expanding and contracting. Was i really doing all this, all day?

Slowly everything goes black. It's such a sweet release from all that activity.
