Spent the whole day in good ol' Pulau Ubin with the teens and campus ministry. I'm thoroughly, thoroughly sunburnt. With prickly heat rash breaking out in my chest and dual-tone coloured arms b'cos i was clad in a pink short-sleeved blouse. Not a very pretty sight.
But it was an incredible day, i'm very proud of the teens and everyone who was such a great sport.
The sun was scorching but the wind that swept our hair as we rode down the slopes was refreshing. A day away from the urban jungle in a little island. It was one of those precious days, on the cusp between cool and hot seasons, between land and sea, time out from ordinary time.
