my spiritual birthday celebration

Yesterday was such a special day for me and the sisters.

The brothers were acting all mysterious and brought the sisters to a little park after lunch. Then our campus comedian aka Choonlim entertained the sisters with an Ah Beng joke while the brothers got ready.

All i can say is, the joke was not funny but the joker was hilarious!

Then finally, the brothers surprised us with a Sisters Appreciation Day!

The sisters were so entertained and touched by the performances, hehe. And not only that! They got flowers for every sister and even bought a SAD cake!

As we, the pampered sisters, ate our fruit cake happily, the brothers came up one by one to share for each individual sister has made an impact in their lives or the ministry.

After all the wonderful sharings, something else was happening behind me...

Knowing my favourite food is sushi, i've got a cute japanese 'birthday cake'. :)

The salmon slices are supposed to form a heart, hehe

3 years ago, i didn't come to church to find friendships. I came out of sheer curiousity because i always thought Christians were a bunch of rich, jia kantang Singaporeans who had nothing better to do. To cut the story short, i came to a church ready to judge and criticize, but instead i found God, i found truth and all the nagging questions about life answered.

And last but not least, i found these people from all walks of life who are here ready to lay their lives and pride for God and righteousness. These beautiful friendships i've forged with the brothers and sisters were blessings from God, fellow passengers on a jet plane to Heaven that will help to keep me strong and faithful when bad times come. Who will speak the truth to me in love when i rebel against Him, who will spur me on to greater heights when i feel uninspired. There's so much about all of you that i can share on and on...but i'll stop here for now.
