The first time he was invited to a costume party was at age five. His parents asked him what he wanted to go as, and he told them, "I want to be a witch."

Choosing to ignore the clear sign of incipient homosexuality, they produced a witch costume, complete with pointy black hat and broom. What they failed to understand, however, was that he had been speaking in terms of a life choice.
