When is enough really enough?
How do you know if you had reached a point where things are going to get worse, where there is nothing left to do but..give up? Perhaps the point has come and gone, perhaps the point is staring at you now, but there is just that little bit of hope that has sustained you all this while - a difference between throwing yourself into the ocean and hanging on to a broken sinking raft.
The anger i felt the past few days is no longer in me. The gaze is soft now and the posture is not aggressive, it is passive, even my voice sounds like the dust has settled into it. Of one who has fought the war but has forgotten the cause. And now all that is left are the wounds from those wars that i tend to mechanically. Like when my head hurts, or my neck is strained, or my jaw from too much clenching and my knees from too much walking.
Sometimes i search for reasons more than solutions because more than often i know the answers already; and if everything's meant to be broken, at least i know who i am.
