a potpourri of sense and feminine lunacy

I've been tired out from work over the week hence the lack of updates. :)

I had yet another successful slumber party with my lovely gal pals in church, Jasmine and Gwen on Friday at Jas's place again. Celia was overseas so she couldn't join us. And i miss her lots. We had so much junk food for supper (courtesy of the pasar malam near Jas's place) and it was really sinful.

A picture speaks a thousand words. This picture speaks of what we did the whole night from 10pm to 8am the next day. WITHOUT SLEEP of course. FOUR girly movies thanks to Gwen (think along the lines of A Cinderella Story), countless hours of 3 player Mahjong (anything is possible if you believe....) and many rounds of pool.

It. Is. Absolutely. Awesome. You know how sometimes with the right people, silence is so comfortable and with great friendship, 3 or 4 friends together can seem like a crowd. That is why you can feel alone with so many people around, but yet so close even when you are with only a few quality friends.

Sunday! I went down to Jayne's house to bring her extremely adorable kids to church because she had a meeting early in the morning. Sabrina, AJ and JD. JD is the baby and erm..he's next to Jasmine actually, being patted to sleep by the maid in the cab. Sabrina is so pretty. AJ is the cutest little boy ever.

The bane of all girlfriends. The lan shop. Oh i have betrayed my own species! I deserve a fate worse than death!

Oh yes, my virgin DotA experience after church service. Oh i have succumbed to the evil forces of DotA! Went along with the DotA gang to Tekka Mall at Little India to play after lunch. $2.20 / hour. I think my blood pressure went up many notches after playing DotA for 4 hours.

Today. Settler's Cafe. $5. Free flow of drinks and games. I haven't laughed this hard for some time. Lionel, Donovan and Weikin added much to the fun and laughter with their playfulness and enthusiasm. Cranium. Oh man, you can never guess what macho Lionel (*coughs*) is doing. He's humming OOPS I DID IT AGAIN and Don is trying his best to decipher it. What can i say. Lionel is a lousy hummer! Weikin tries his best to distract them with his hammer. Heh heh. I love Cranium! If you have more than 7 people in Settler's, i highly recommend this game.

Taboo! Lionel showing off his GP skills. For those who know how to play Taboo, the guys have come up with a easy way to identify the word 'Regular'.

"Not NSF."

Let's give the boys a round of applause. Once a man in green, always a man in green.

I seldom do pointless entries like these, but once in a while i like to give such fond memories a tangible space of their own instead of them fading away in my frontal cortex. Before i go to bed, here's an equally pointless game just for Eunice's special somebody. What could be better for some light hearted entertainment than a bit of Shop Lifting? Hang on. What am I saying? Shop lifting is BAD kids. Don't do it. That's unless it's in this online game. And even then try not to enjoy it. And certainly don't get a taste for it and go out and try it for real. You're bound to end up with more than just a *slap*.

Stay good kids.
