foiled surprise

Talk about being kiasu, the secret lovers have already celebrated our beloved Grace's birthday. 2 weeks in advance. Woohoo. We are so efficient. Okay so the 3 of us, Agent Matt, Agent Sean and me have planned in advance - i can only come to Sean's house at like 7plus after the netball game with the NBMT (netball mission team) and Grace will already be there in the afternoon. So when i reach the house, Sean will have to find an excuse to come downstairs and help me do the decorations and bday cake and whatsoever, while Matt has to find a way to prevent Grace from going downstairs. All was going well. Sean excused himself to go to the "toilet", the bday banner was put up, balloons were blown and hung, the pizza dinner and cake was laid out on the table...

Then Grace came downstairs with Matt behind her.

FIRST BLOOD!

Anyway, so much for a surprise party huh! Haha but really appreciate you guys for doing a great job til our dear girl had a nature's call at the wrong time! And kudos to Sean for buying the chocolate cake even though he forgotten that i don't eat chocolate. We just shoo-ed Grace back upstairs and continued with the preparations and made her act surprised when we were done.

And then we decided to recycle the birthday preparation so we celebrated mine and Sean's birthday as well. We were both so surprised!

I can always wax lyrical about our friendship and the joy, laughter and tears that Grace has brought to my life. But i'd rather save it for the inside of a homemade card to be written with love. So hey, we love you lots girl. ;)
